Champion Group completed the construction of logistic center – East Mushrooms in Szańków, near Łosice. This is another investment made by Champion in that region of Poland.
In a building with a capacity of 28 606 m ³ and floorage 2800 m² is a modern logistic center for mushrooms storage designed to handle the most of European markets. Work on that investment, lasted from June to September 2012. General constructor of the building was one of the Champion Group division – Champion Invest.
Special success for us is a time of realization of this project – from entering to the building site to start up the building with whole infrastructure and cooling technology, implementation took us approx. 100 days. This would not be possible without the efficient management of the investment process by skilled Champion Group workers, subcontractors working with us from few years, but also the Investor, who prepared in advance and professional the formal and financial range of whole investment.
The scope of works of this building included implementation of production and storage building with social- office part with associated road and technical infrastructure – informed Rafał Licznerski, Project Manager. In scope of the contract were realized building works, installation works (sanitary and electrical), as well as interior finish with full equipment and landscape (green areas) with irrigation.

The created building is a free-standing hall with light steel structure covered by sandwich panels with polyurethane core. The main part of the building is one –storey, lifted up to level +1,20m above existing ground level in the shape of rectangle with double pitched roof covered by trapezoidal sheet metal with anti-condensation layer. Thermal insulation of the production – storage part are sandwich panels of internal walls PU120 and suspended ceiling made of above mentioned sandwich panels. The comb height – 10,49m.

In Poland recently we have implemented such objects as: Distribution center FHU Robert – the biggest Polish mushrooms exporter – sold over 2.200 tons per month to national retail chains, but also to the Eastern and Western Europe countries. Distribution centers for Grzybek Łosicki”, „Pieczarki Podlaskie”, „Pieczarki Siedleckie”, high storage refrigerator for 10.000 pallet place for Oerlemans Foods Siemiatycze. Currently there last also final works of the next building designed for the same purpose for „Grzybowy Raj Sp. z o.o.”
