Mushroom Days a great success

The 32nd Mushroom Days was, by all accounts, a great success.  ’s-Hertogenbosch was the centre of the world for mushrooms and other fungi.

80 exhibitors, of which 21 were international exhibitors,  presented  the latest developments, products and services, during this unique international exhibition.

In total, over 2,600 visitors from 63 countries attended The Mushroom Days.  More than 500 people  were working at the stands. During the three days, over 3,100 industry professionals did business with

each other.

The Mushroom Days Foundation felt it was a successful international exhibition for everyone working in the mushroom industry. The organization was very pleased with the guest speaker Mr. Greg Seymour from Australia at the Welcome Event on Wednesday May 25. He is a leading well-known professional within the mushroom industry. He told an inspiring story about the opportunities within the mushroom industry. His inspiring presentation was much discussed by visitors and exhibitors and will endure for a long time.

The chairman of The Mushroom Foundation, Piet Lempens looked back on a very successful edition of the event. “It’s great to see this event is so alive, nationally and internationally. The leading companies present themselves and meet great visitors. ” Over 60% of the visitors belong to a supervisor or management team. 30% of the visitors had never been to the Mushoorm Days before. 50% of the visitors had visited the Mushroom Days 3 times or more. 70% of the visitors were Dutch and 20% came from other countries in Europe, and 10% from all elsewhere in the world.

The Mushroom Days offers participants and visitors from the mushroom industry an ideal platform for information, inspiration and interaction with innovative products, services and technologies.

Mushroom Days 2013

The 33rd edition of the Mushroom Days will be held from 29 to 31 May 2013. It will take place at the Brabanthallen, s’-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
