Mushroom factory has opened in Mordovia, Russia

A mushroom growing industrial complex has been launched in Lunga village of Ardatov municipality of Mordovia. Ilya Ginzburg, the production manager, had taken part in the regional program “Support to beginning farmers in the Republic of Mordovia in the period 2012-2014”, and is planning to get the first harvest at the end of this month already.

Five chambers are fitted for mushroom growing on the mushroom factory, of which four are involved at this time. The annual volume of mushrooms grown, according to the plans of the company’s management can be expected to reach 15 tons. But in the spring of this year, Ilya Ginzburg plans to increase production capacity to 40 tons of mushrooms.

Implementation of mushrooms at the price of 80-90 rubles per kilogram will occur not only in Mordovia, but also in Samara and Penza regions, as well as in the Chuvash Republic.
