“Based on the results of 2017, Ukraine exported 533 tons of champignon mushrooms worth USD 480,000, which is 12.5 times as many as over the previous period. In 2016, Ukraine exported 42.6 tons of champignon mushrooms to the foreign markets worth USD 37,800,” the statement reads.
Moldova (443 tons worth $382,000), Belarus (85.4 tons worth $87,100) and Romania (1 ton worth $1,500) have been the largest importers of Ukrainian of champignon mushrooms in 2017. Ukrainian champignon mushrooms have been also supplied to Israel, Georgia, Kuwait, Austria, Panama, Slovakia, Turkey and other countries.
