Sylvan were key sponsor of the 10th Chinese Mushroom Days in Zhengzhou, China. The city of Zhangzhou is located in the heart of the traditional mushroom production and mushroom processing region of China and the event is always well attended. This year it was estimated that more than 1000 guests from China and abroad passed through the exhibition areas to see the latest in machinery, and innovation as well as to hear presentations from experts on a broad range of subjects. Sylvan co-sponsored the evening banquet on the second evening, an event titled, “The night of the white button mushroom”. It was an opportunity for Sylvan to thank the organizers and reflect on the remarkable growth of the Chinese industry over the past 20 years.
